Global Mushrooms And Truffles Market Trends

The high concentration of minerals, antioxidants, and other health-promoting ingredients in truffles and mushrooms makes them popular among consumers who are health-conscious. Due to the high levels of protein, fiber, and antioxidants in their nutritional makeup, these products are in high demand.

For example, in December 2022, a survey was conducted to try and determine what factors influence consumer demand for mushrooms, according to an article published by Krishi Bhavan, The Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Nutrition was found to be the main argument in favor of eating mushrooms, as evidenced by the fact that more than half of the respondents (56.40%) were fully aware of the food's nutritional value. Approximately 42% of those surveyed believed there was an additional type of vegetable on something other than the vegetables they typically ate on their plates. It was an interesting discovery to see people connecting it to flesh. More than 19% of respondents claimed to eat it since they find it to taste quite similar to meat.
