- The Guam Regional Medical City has improved care offered to stroke patients through telemedicine. GRMC’s goal to provide 24/7 stroke care, including the expansion of TeleStroke services in February 2025. GRMC's TeleStroke services include high-speed audio/video conferencing and image-sharing technology that allow neurological specialists to assess and examine patients, diagnose their condition and establish a plan of care in collaboration with on-site physicians.
- In collaboration with Amrita Hospital, Kochi, the ICMR's TeleStroke project has been launched at Kotagiri Medical Fellowship Mission Hospital to bring advanced stroke care to rural areas in September 2024. The project aims to provide critical care services to rural, tea estate, and tribal communities, ensuring timely intervention and follow-up care for stroke patients.
- The University of Rhode Island has been awarded a USD 500,000, three-year grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation for its project in October 2024. The multinational project focuses on designing medical rehabilitation that uses cyber physical systems technology particularly targeted to stroke survivors under age 65.

- Medanta, a private healthcare provider group in India, has introduced a 24/7 remote and virtual service for patients in the Tele- ICU service in August 2023. It has partnered with GE HealthCare to launch the Medanta e-ICU Command Centre which will provide 24/7 advanced consultation, care, and near-real-time monitoring of critically ill patients without having to physically transfer them to a super-specialty hospital.
