Hematologic Malignancies Market Trends
Hematologic Malignancies Market growth is primarily driven by rising rates of urbanization and blood cancer prevalence. The incidence of blood cancer is rising as a result of exposure to radiation, tobacco smoke, specific chemicals, etc. Dietary changes have resulted from urbanization. Consuming unhealthy, processed, and undernourished food has an impact on one's health and raises the risk of cancer. Urbanization has increased drinking and smoking, which has become fashionable and contributed to an increase in cancer cases. It was confirmed in the National Report 2021 that Australia is experiencing an increasing incidence of blood cancer. The Cancer Data in Australia 2021 report published in June 2021 by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) verified that over 50 Australians were diagnosed with blood cancer each day in 2020, up from 47 cases per day this year. For example, in 2016, the NIH used Quantile Regression to study the correlation between Iran's urbanization and cancer incidence. Quantile regression was used to analyze data from the Ministry of Health & Medical Education and explore the relationship between urbanization and cancer morbidity. The results showed that the rate of urbanization was positively correlated with the incidence of lung, pancreatic, prostate, colorectal, and breast cancers. The highest rate of increase in breast cancer was at the 90th percentile. Prostate cancer was in the 95th percentile, colorectal cancer in the 75th percentile, lung cancer in the 95th percentile, and pancreatic cancer in the 10th percentile. The findings showed that increasing urbanization had a substantial effect on cancer morbidity because of risk factors like more urban pollution, unhealthy eating habits, inactivity, alcoholism, smoking, and so forth. Approximately 55% of the world's population lived in urban areas in 2018, according to UN data, and this percentage is expected to rise over the course of the forecast period. However, the demand for the hematopoietic malignancies market has increased because of the rise in blood cancer cases and the urban population.
