  • In October 2022, to install 105 diesel generators at its new data center in Dublin, Amazon applied for an emissions permit from the Irish Environmental Protection Agency (EPC). The units will be capable of producing a total capacity of 674 MW. Industrial emission permits are required when units are expected to produce over 50 MW of electricity.
