- Egyptian researchers have developed a mini refrigerator powered by one to four thermoelectric units at varying voltages in October 2024. They simulated and tested the system under different conditions, achieving a maximum coefficient of performance (COP) of 77.3%. The primary objective of this research is to study the efficiency of a thermoelectric refrigerator under various operational settings.
- Researchers published an article in Journal of Physics with titled “designing & constructing mini refrigerator with thermoelectric module” in 2022. The results obtained from this study are that the refrigerator can reduce the system room temperature from 28.5 °C to 13.6 13 within 10 minutes.
