- In June 2023, Allied Vision Technologies GmbH introduced a significant range of technologies and products at the “Automatica” trade fair in Munich. These included the small GigE Vision and 5GigE Vision cameras “Alvium G1” and “Alvium G5”; the launch of the company’s “AI-Blox” platform with the upcoming GMSL-2 Alvium GM2 camera; the Nerian “Ruby” 3D depth camera; and a look at the company’s Goldeye XSWIR camera.
- In June 2023, Omron Automation Americas launched the F440 smart camera to bring flexibility to machine vision operations. It includes a high-resolution sensor, customizable optics and lighting, and simplified configuration of the vision system through the “AutoVISION” software. This camera is useful in applications such as cap inspection, can counting, fill level inspection, metrology, barcoding and label OCR, and many more.
- In June 2023, SICK Ag announced its new multiScan100 series with the launch of the “multiScan136”, which uses time-of-flight (TOF) measurement to create a 3D perception of its surroundings. The multiScan136 provides 3D measurement data for precise self-localization of vehicles and for mapping of environments. It has been designated for use in mobile robots in the logistics and manufacturing sectors, as well as for indoor and outdoor measurements.
