Recent News:

  • A new 2,000kW natural gas engine cogeneration system called "SGP M2000" was introduced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine & Turbocharger, Ltd. (MHIET), a division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Group, in March 2023. The 16-cylinder, natural gas-fired engine in the new package has the highest electrical efficiency rating of any engine in the 2,000 kW class at 44.3%. This engine produces a compact cogeneration system. Less CO2 is released throughout the power-generating process because of the SGP M2000's electrical efficiency, which is 1.8 percentage points greater than MHIET's current 1,000kW petrol engine cogeneration system. It's also tiny.
  • Kirloskar Oil Engines introduced their line of gas-powered generators in August 2022. The company stated that as concerns about sustainability and gas availability grew, industry segments considered them leaders in backup power solutions to develop alternative fuel-based genset choices. The company claimed that it has always prioritized environmentally friendly and customer-centered solutions.
