  • In April 2023, Stratasys Ltd., a leader in polymer 3D printing solutions, acquired Covestro AG's additive manufacturing materials business. The acquisition includes global R&D facilities and operations, sales and development teams in Europe, the United States and Asia.
  • In October 2022, Australian metal 3D printing company AML3D expanded its partnership with aircraft manufacturer Boing. Boeing commissioned AML3D earlier this year to 3D print aluminum prototype aircraft parts as part of an intensive testing process. They have been tested according to AS9100D quality assurance requirements for “flying” parts. Based on this contract, it was decided to expand the scope of the project to include additional 3D printed components, increasing the value of the deal by 150%.
  • In November 2022, health technology startup Axial3D received a $15 million investment round, led by a $10 million strategic investment from Stratasys. The partnership between the two companies will provide a combined offering aimed at making patient-specific 3D printing solutions more accessible to hospitals and medical device manufacturers, thereby promoting their adoption as a mainstream healthcare solution.
