  • In April 2022 - NuScale Power and the U.S. Reactor Forging Consortium (RFC) have partnered to advance NuScale's small modular reactor (SMR) technology and strengthen its reactor forging supply chain USA. RFC, which includes North American Forgemasters (NAF), Scot Forge and ATI Forged Products, is a group of highly qualified nuclear-grade forging suppliers. As part of the collaborative agreement, RFC and NuScale will collaborate on design reviews to optimize forging geometry, reduce welding, adjust chemistry and improve manufacturing configurations. This collaboration supports the commercialization of NuScale power modules (NPMs), an integral part of their SMR technology
  • In February 2022, Bharat Forge Limited announced that it has agreed to acquire JS Autocast Foundry India. The acquisition will enable Bharat Forge to expand its product portfolio across the industrial sector, customer base and manufacturing base in South India. Bharat Forge will acquire JS Auto for an upfront payment plus a deferred fixed payment at the end of the third year.
