Frameless Solar Panels Market Size
Frameless Solar Panels Market was valued at US$ 2.4 Billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.5% to reach US$ 6.5 Billion by 2034.
Glass-on-glass, or frameless, solar panels are a visually appealing alternative to conventional solar panels. They look to be "floating" when installed because no support frames need to be built. The thickening of the glass due to the insertion of solar cells between the two layers gives it strength and structural support. Compared to conventional panels, these panels and modules have a number of advantages. For instance, the cost of frameless solar panels is substantially lower than that of standard panels. Additionally, because they weigh less and have a higher packing density, they save money on transportation. These panels perform better because there is little to no debris build-up because they do not have any aluminum frames. Their greatest asset, though, is their aesthetic appeal, a characteristic that traditional solar modules are said to lack.
