  • James Sibley and Sebastian Sanchez teamed together in July 2024 to create Phytabar, a chocolate seaweed bar high in omega-3 fatty acids. Sibley's seafood expertise and Sanchez's business acumen were combined to produce Phytabar, a seaweed-infused chocolate bar. The product was introduced in May, and over 1,000 bars have already been sold. Phytabar is a vegan nutrition bar made of wakame seaweed, dark chocolate, almonds, dates, stevia, monk fruit, and a protein mix. It contains 9g of protein and 13g of fiber. These bars also include omega-3s, a fatty acid found in seafood that can benefit the body in several ways, including improving mood and brain function.
