- Ripple Foods launched dairy-free protein smoothies for children in July 2024. Vegan Brand Introduces Plant-Based Protein Shakes for Children. The California-based vegan dairy company touted its product as the "first and only" kids' protein shake designed to alleviate hunger, with 13g of pea protein and 3g of fiber every 12-ounce carton. They are currently available in both "Chocolotta" and "Viva Vanilla" flavors.
- Lactalis Canada, a subsidiary of the French dairy behemoth, will debut a new plant-based milk brand in May 2024, shortly after transforming one of its facilities into a 100% vegan hub. The Canadian division of French dairy business Lactalis, which had $31.4 billion in sales in 2023, has launched Enjoy, a plant-based milk brand aimed at health-conscious customers.
- Califia Farms introduced Califia Farms Complete in February 2024, a creamy plant milk containing nine key nutrients, eight grams of protein, all nine essential amino acids, and half the sugar of dairy milk. Califia Farms Complete, which has a proprietary blend of pea, chickpea, and fava bean protein, is now available for $6.69 at Target, Walmart, and other stores nationwide.
