Recent News:

  • Cummins launched its most efficient heavy-duty diesel engine in March 2024. The diesel X15, the following product in the Cummins HELM 15-liter fuel-agnostic platform, will meet US EPA and CARB 2027 standards when it launches. The next-generation X15 diesel engine will be employed in heavy-duty on-highway applications in North America. Maintaining the traditional reliability and lower operating costs that have met the needs of a diverse customer base since the inaugural X15 launch in 1998, the next-generation, advanced diesel X15 will feature improved greenhouse gas and fuel efficiency benefits while retaining the same ratings as the current X15 (up to 605 horsepower and 2,050 ft-lb of torque) and optimizing powertrain integration with Eaton Cummins and Cummins-Meritor.
  • Hitachi Energy's next-generation asset performance management solution launched in October 2023. Hitachi Energy, a global technology firm, has introduced the next iteration of its asset performance management (APM) software, Lumada APM, which now includes two additional modules: Lumada APM dependability and Lumada APM optimization. The Lumada APM solution drives sustainability, safety, and operational excellence efforts by providing asset-intensive enterprises with a single picture of their assets and asset systems. With this information, businesses may increase asset uptime, eliminate unplanned downtime, prioritize maintenance spending, extend asset life, and lower the total cost of ownership. Furthermore, Lumada APM provides a single pane of glass for evaluating system and fleet risks of probable asset failures before they occur, simulating intervention options, and optimizing portfolio resources to balance desired asset performance, risk, and cost.
