Recent News:

  • In January 2025, a separate integrated retailer of retail energy and cleaner energy solutions for the commercial and industrial sector, Catalyst Power Holdings LLC is now offering its cogeneration systems, also referred to as combined heat and power ("CHP") systems in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Cogeneration systems can achieve over 90% thermal efficiency by collecting thermal energy that would otherwise be squandered to provide on-site heating or cooling.
  • In September 2024, Jet Investment has agreed to buy all of Yanmar Energy System Co., Ltd.'s shares in TEDOM Group, a developer of cogeneration systems. The acquisition is awaiting approval from the appropriate regulatory bodies, however the share purchase agreement (SPA) was signed on September 4th, 2024. The deal cannot be completed until the required regulatory approval has been obtained. After it shuts down, TEDOM will join the Yanmar Group.
  • In September 2023, Sales of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.'s GPB17MMX, a 1.8 MW class gas turbine cogeneration system featuring the first combustor in the world that can run entirely on hydrogen, have begun. Hydrogen-fueled generator sets have greater combustion temperatures and faster rates of combustion than natural gas generator sets, which might result in technical issues such a notable rise in NOx*2 emissions and burner overheating.
