Global Soil Vapour Extraction Market Overview

Soil vapour extraction (SVE) is an in-situ remediation technology in which vacuum is applied to the soil usually through brocholes/trenches to induce a flow of air through the unsaturated zone soil. Soil evaporation uses vacuum pressure to remove volatile and semi volatile contaminants (VOCs and SVOCs) from the soil. Soil vapour extraction can run intermittently once the extracted mass removal rate has reached a steady state level. Further, the area called the capillary fringe is often high contaminated as it holds undissolved chemicals that are higher than water and vapours that have escaped from the dissolved groundwater below, which supports the growth of soil vapour extraction market.
