Global Hydraulic Packers Market Overview

A packer is a common component of oil and gas well gear that provides a seal between the inside of the casing and the outside of the tubing. Packers are divided into two categories based on their principal purpose: production packers and service packers. During well production, production packers remain in the well. During well servicing activities such as acidizing, cement squeezing, well testing, and fracturing, service packers are temporarily used. Hydraulic Packers are used in crooked and deviated holes where tube movement is undesirable or restricted. The tubing can be hung with neutral strain, which is required for most wells, producers, and injectors to function properly. It’s also known as a well barrier element, and it’s usually a portion of the well’s principal barrier that prevents the formation of an A-annulus.
