The six bioplastics, from strongest to weakest, are: arrowroot starch, tapioca starch, corn starch, potato starch, rice flour, and potato starch. Bioplastics are a type of plastic that can be made from natural sources such as vegetable oils and starches. As bioplastics are plant-based products, the use of petroleum for plastic production is expected to decrease by 15-20% by 2025.
