The Graphic Arts media sector has seen success with Innovia's dedicated RayoartTM PVC-free film line. The outdoor endurance of the films has been increased to four years thanks to ongoing development, and a white matte film has been introduced to the lineup. With a 50% lower environmental impact than monomeric PVC, RayoartTM provides a more environmentally friendly option for the graphics market.

  • In June 2022, FDC Graphic Films, Inc. launched a new holographic film “Lumina” by FDC 3400 which is ideal for general-purpose graphics, short-term signage/graphics, decals, labels, and lettering. The 90# lay flat liner in the 3400 Series offers outstanding dimensional stability for digital printing. Wide format digital printing systems often use a variety of solvent-based, eco-solvent, latex, and UV curable inks, and this printer does too.
  • In February 2021, Innovia Films launched PVC-free graphics arts films “Rayoart”, a new BOPP film developed for extended outdoor usage offering color and print performance and improved environmental footprint. The great color and print vibrancy of Rayoart 60 m (230 gauge) BOPP films helps to maximize the message and branding. While maintaining some of the performance qualities of more expensive polymeric vinyl materials, the new product offers a less expensive alternative to monomeric vinyl.
